On our Way to PA
Today we leave for a just-shy-of-a week long trip to Hawley, Pennsylvania. What's in Hawley, PA, you may ask? Well, there is a lovely resort there called Woodloch at which 33 of the Dykstra clan will be descending upon by Tuesday evening. We will spend our time visiting with family we haven't seen for a while, enjoying the sunshine (and apparently the thunderstorms, as "they" are predicting) and partaking in all the wonderful amenities available to us at this fine establishment. I'm sure there will be many a story to tell after this fabulous adventure. I'm not sure if I'll have access to blog while there but I will certainly share some of our tales when we return.
Flying with the girls always makes me a little nervous. Thankfully, our flight is a non-stop one to Washington DC. However, that means we have about 5 hours worth of flight time to keep a four year old and a two year old entertained! At least at this point, we are still one-to-one in our parent to child ratio. It won't be too long and poor Matt and I will be outnumbered! :) Please keep us in your prayers as we color, paper-doll, and video our way to DC. We will be arriving fairly late into DC and then renting a car and going to a hotel we have reserved, so please pray that all that goes smoothly as well!
Bon Voyage!
The Jahns
