Nettie's thoughts on God

As happens on many an occasion we had run out of milk before I had the opportunity to go to the store. My dear husband went out early before the rest of us got up to buy some because he knows his wife gets cranky if she can't have milk with breakfast. Nettie had known we were out of milk and was surprised to find some in fridge that morning. She asked Matt where it came from and he responded that God put it there. She, of course, didn't believe him. And he responded by asking why it couldn't have been God. Without skipping a beat she said, "God doesn't go shopping. He has to make people all day!"
