
Last Sunday early afternoon we embarked upon another adventure. The Jahns and the Oosterhouses drove to New Brighton State Park where we camped for four nights. We had a lovely time of riding bikes and playing at the beach. Many, many pictures of our adventure have been uploaded to the

The one unfortunate event of the whole thing was that our tent met and sad and quite untimely demise. As you can see from the pictures, we desperately tried to save it, but to no avail. We were forced to go out and buy a brand new lovely (and larger) tent. Oh, darn! :) This mishap took place the very first eve of our trip! I went all around town looking for another tent and due to the time of year, was unable to find one. Matt was forced to go and buy one in Concord, which made him pleased as punch (note the dripping sarcasm.) The good news is that now we will be able to camp for many years to come in our lovely new tent. (At this point, Matt is probably about ready to hang himself.)
